As Gleamer continues its rapid growth, our Chief Innovation Officer and co-founder is seeking exceptional interns to join as AI Innovation Intern, with a primary focus on Gleamer Voice, our new agentic AI dictation solution for radiologists.

Throughout this ~6-month internship, you will engage deeply with Voice while also exploring other high-impact AI opportunities across Gleamer’s product lines. You will gain hands-on experience in prototyping, data and model evaluation, and product discovery, all centered on meaningful healthcare challenges. The role ensures significant exposure to executive leadership and strategic topics at the intersection of AI and clinical workflows.

🚀 Key Responsibilities

As an AI Innovation Intern, you will contribute to both Gleamer Voice and broader innovation topics:

1. Gleamer Voice – Core Mission

  • Data & Knowledge Bases: Help build, clean, and structure datasets (audio, transcripts, reports, templates, guidelines) for training and evaluation.

  • Model Evaluation: Design and run tests for our speech-to-text, language, and agent models (quality, robustness, safety).

  • AI Agent Design: Contribute to agents that interpret radiologists’ intentions and oral commands and turn them into structured, personalized reports.

  • Product Experiments: Prototype and test new Voice features, summarizing results into clear recommendations for the team.

2. Broader Innovation & New Opportunities

  • Prototyping & Project Support: Help scope, implement, and iterate on selected innovation projects with cross-functional teams.

  • Technology Watch: Monitor and synthesize advances in LLMs, agents, speech, and clinical AI, and suggest how they could benefit Gleamer.

  • Tools & Communication: Develop internal tools and documentation, and contribute to presentations, demos, and experiment reports.

⚡️ Expected Outcomes

By the end of your internship, you will have:

  • Contributed directly to the evolution and production deployment of Gleamer Voice—used by radiologists in their daily practice—through concrete improvements to models, datasets, and agent capabilities.

  • Gained a deep understanding of how AI (LLMs, agents, speech, RAG, evaluation frameworks) is applied to real-world radiology workflows.

  • Collaborated extensively with our CIO and experienced professionals across product, engineering, clinical, and commercial teams.

  • Strengthened your ability to independently drive complex, data-heavy projects from idea to actionable outcome.
