Job Description

Mission

We seek an experienced and diligent Security Officer to join our team and ensure our data and digital infrastructure's cybersecurity through implementing the Information Security Management System according to best practices and standards such as ISO27001 or HDS.

🥇 Responsibilities

  • Design cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices to protect Gleamer's digital assets, including sensitive data and intellectual property, and answer customer requests related to information security.

  • Monitor and analyze our network and systems for security breaches, intrusions, or unauthorized access.

  • Commissioning regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify potential weaknesses and recommend appropriate countermeasures.

  • Oversee and maintain secure IT infrastructure, including computers and Wi-Fi networks, to ensure a safe and reliable working environment for employees.

  • Collaborate with the technical teams to develop and maintain a robust business continuity and disaster recovery plan.

  • Provide guidance and training to employees on cybersecurity best practices, such as password management, phishing awareness, and data protection.

  • Keep abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies, and recommend improvements to Gleamer's security posture accordingly.

Preferred Experience

Hard skills

  • Master's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a technology or healthcare setting.

  • Strong understanding of information security principles, practices, and technologies, such as encryption, authentication, and network security.

  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and frameworks, such as ISO 27001, RGPD, and HIPAA.

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
